dawn fog clears-
showing their toddler
the ocean

cluttered sunroom-
the cactus outgrowing
its starter pot

ballpark heat-
with a squeeze-bottle she mists
her disabled son

afternoon land breeze--
the sulphur butterfly
miles off shore

luggage carousel-
unclaimed, a garment bag
keeps travelling
