Je res prazen up
kristalne solze zgostiti
v jekleno rezilo?

There's really no hope
those limpid tears will cool
into blades of steel?

****************

V radostnem ribniku
moja hci in lokvanj –
sonceva satelita.

In the joyful pond
my daughter and a lotus –
moons round the sun.

******************

Do jutra se valjam
v zelenem kukmaku –
gozdna princesa.

Till dawn I curl
inside green field mushrooms -
a wood princess.

*****************

Sredi arene
gosje pero krvavi
v bronaste kipe.

In mid arena
goose quills bleed
into bronze statues.

*****************

Z glasom kamna
korenine oblaka
drse v podzemlje.

With a voice of rock
cloud roots insinuate
the underworld.

*****************

Neopisljivo
vstopajo beli dnevi,
ko v peci se tli.

Indescribable
are the entries of white days
when a stove still glows.

******************

V mavrico
jadra orel izkasljat
crnino oglja.

Into the rainbow
soars the eagle to cough up
the black of charcoal.

***********************

Ko lezem v ogenj,
nek davni vrac posrka
vse bolecine.

When I step in the fire
an ancient shaman drains
all agonies.

***********************

Se bose ovce
vidijo le hrbet
miline z ozvezdij.

Yet barefooted sheep
see only the graceful back
of constellations.
