Calla Visage, non de plume for Maralena Howard, writer, photographer and artist.

In 2001, Maralena left a 15-year Nursing Home Industry career in Social Work and Recreational Therapy to devote more time to her spiritual/holistic training - as well as to pursue her written and artistic dreams.

Combining both her original photography and haiku to create Haiga, is something that she finds deeply satisfying and personally rewarding.

Maralena is a third degree Reiki Master/Teacher and has a private alternative - holistic therapy practice in Michigan.
