chibi 'Dennis Michael Holmes'
Dennis Michael Holmes (pen-name: chibi) lives in
northwest Georgia with his wife and two sons.
He
started writing haiku in 2000, but, has been writing poetry
and short stories
since he was 15 years old. He loves traditional Japanese haiku
and currently is studying under the haijin, Fujita Akegarasu,
haijin for the Tokyo haiku circle, Kusanohana. He is a member
of the northwest Georgia haiku circle, Pinecone and of The
Haiku Society of America. He has membership and associations
with
many online haiku groups including, World Haiku Club,
Cherry, Cherry Poetry, Nesrevinu, and Simply Haiku, just to
mention a
few.

deep Etowah
frost on the willow ~
a sweet fragrance
for a few steps
winter ~
mother's last letter
warms me
winter cold ~
echo of cicadas
from stones
winter moon
far away ... mute love
