Haiku by Laryalee Fraser

moon
your soft round light
fits in my hand birthday party -
  even the windows
  smile
scooting
on its own shadow
a water spider bristled pine -
  the autumn moon
  has a moustache!
heat-cracked fields
a farmer stares
at the sky
