HAIKU

Keiko Izawa

withering wind
a dance party ticket
whirls with a leaf

  winter dusk
why so talkative
town crows

warm winter day...
  behind the laughing buddha
    a vendor naps

  on the last page
of the calendar, a cat
looking back

red moon
reciting to myself
the samurai's death poem
