Keiko Izawa

withering wind
a dance party ticket
whirls with a leaf
  winter dusk
why so talkative
town crows
warm winter day...
  behind the laughing buddha
    a vendor naps
  on the last page
of the calendar, a cat
looking back
red moon
reciting to myself
the samurai's death poem

Keiko Izawa Keiko Izawa resides in Yokohama, Japan. She has been writing haiku for about a year while at the same time enjoying reading the work of other haiku poets across the world.
