months after the blossoms:
i remember to notice
the cherry tree
  in the midnight wind
the sounds of ocean
miles away
daylight saving twilight-
from the hedges
cricket's refrain slowing
  which stirs me more,
gusts of April wind
or how the branches follow?
at first glance
a distant porch light --
moon in the leafy trees
