Deborah P. Kolodji

marina sunset
an osprey nest rocks
with the current
  salad sprinkled
with pomegranate seeds--
the long winter
winter geese
our daughters returning
from college
  uncarved pumpkins--
the pregnant woman
strokes her belly
white roses
my friend whispers
her daughter's name
