Simply Haiku: A Quarterly Journal of Japanese Short Form Poetry Johnye Strickland ~ Associate Editor
At present, she is an Associate Editor of Simply Haiku and Editor of The Haiku Society of America Newsletter. She writes haiku and senryu in Spanish as well as English, and renku she has participated in have been translated into Japanese, French, and Bulgarian. She is a member of the World Haiku Club and the WHC International Kigo Project. Her haiku, senryu, haibun and renku, and book reviews have been published in bottle rockets, Simply Haiku, World Haiku Review, and Haiku Ireland. Johnye Strickland is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (USA). She has been studying haiku and renku since 2001.
